Ciaran Ledwith
Ciaran has extensive experience in the area of property law, advising owners, lenders, borrowers, landlords, tenants, investors, contractors and developers on significant property transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, leasing, development and funding. Ciaran also has considerable experience acting for residential developers, with an in- depth knowledge of initial site acquisition, financing, development, construction and the sales process.
Construction law forms a significant part of Ciaran’s expertise. He advises and represents developers, contractors, engineers and other construction professionals on construction matters, both contentious and non- contentious. On the contentious side, he has represented developers and contractors in the resolution of disputes.

Johanne Duignan
Johanne is an experienced employment lawyer having practised exclusively in the areas of employment law and industrial relations in top tier practices since 2006. Johanne advises both employers and employees on all aspects of the employment relationship, on contentious and non-contentious issues, in the private, public and voluntary sectors. Johanne regularly represents both employers and employees in Courts and Tribunals including the Workplace Relations Commission, the Labour Court, the Circuit Court, the High Court, the Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court. Johanne has considerable experience of advising on crisis management issues which have an employment or industrial relations aspect.
Johanne is also an experienced litigator with wide ranging experience handling actions under the Companies Acts, from shareholder and boardroom disputes to investigations and inquiries. Johanne has particular expertise of advising clients in relation to statutory and non- statutory investigations and reviews and the application of natural justice and constitutional fair procedures. Johanne’s expertise includes assisting clients in preventing disputes before they occur, and she regularly advises clients in all forms of alternative dispute resolution, including mediations.

Johanne is co- author of ‘Employment Law in Ireland’ and is a tutor on the Law Society of Ireland’s Professional Practice courses. Johanne is a regular speaker at conferences on employment law, including CIPD Ireland. Johanne is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association of Ireland.

Pippa Weld
Pippa is an experienced regulatory, compliance and litigation lawyer with a mix of private practice and inhouse experience. She has particular expertise in governance, sports law, data protection and regulatory investigations. She has invaluable experience at senior leadership level managing an array of different areas within a commercial environment to include governance reform, risk management. Her previous roles involved managing projects within the legal department of a funded sports body to include professional disciplinary matters, regulatory investigations, contracts and employment issues. Her experience of building and managing stakeholder relationships through honest and transparent communication have played an integral role in driving complex projects to completion.
Pippa is also an experienced dispute resolution lawyer having significant experience in managing sports related disputes through arbitration as well as litigating before the District, Circuit and Superior Courts on a range of issues including regulatory law, administrative law, professional indemnity, public liability, defamation, employer’s liability and employer’s practice liability.
Pippa joined Ledwith LLP following a number of years working as an inhouse solicitor with the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board and the Football Association of Ireland.
